The NSS Programme Officer and volunteers called the parents of such students and informed that the student is driving without helmet. The parents were requested to send the students with helmet. The bikers crossing the railway barrier were stopped and not allowed to cross the barrier when the barrier was closed. The bikers were informed about the risk of accidents in case they are not able to see the train coming from the other side. People were motivated to use the TDI flyover or underpass to cross the railway barrier. The safety drive was conducted in the morning and in the evening at college timings. The students also participated in the slogan competition. The management students made creative slogans to create awareness about safe driving.  The Director and Programme Coordinator appreciated the noble initiative of the NSS unit. The Director urged the students to make safety a habit and not just confine it to one safety week.
