Teacher’s Day celebrated with great fervor on 5th Sept. 2014 @ APIIT SD INDIA
Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable; engineering is not merely analysis; engineering is not merely the possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems; engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change.
To commemorate the memory of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya who had contributed o the field of hydel energy in India and to identify and acknowledge the great works done by our hard working and smart engineers, Engineer's day was celebrated on 15th September 2014 at APIIT SD India. Er. T. K. Mukherjee (DGM of IOCL Refinery, Panipat) and her wife Mrs. Shikha Mukherjee and the Vice Chairman of APIIT, Sh. Ishwar Garg were present as the chief guests for the programme.
After inauguration, various technical events like Debugging competition, Assembling competition, I am proud to be an Indian and When Bollywood has inspired me for Engineering Career were organized for students. Winners for every event were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1100, and runner up team was awarded with Rs. 500 cash prize along with certificates. More than 100 students have shown the participation.
The Director of APIIT, Prof. Dr. R. K. Choudhary gave the vote of thanks and addressed the students. The event was organized successfully and left its imprints like flowing water embarks its impression on a pebbled shore.
